urpmi perl-BerkeleyDB installation

Problem: when i try to install urpmi perl-BerkeleyDB there is pop-message appeart: "urpmi database locked" .. What does it mean? please. help n' thanks

That's normal when the DB is being accessed either for adding or removing using urpmi. Should it remain locked after install or removals are complete, you may unlock it using;

rm -f "/<path_to>/urpmi/.LOCK"
(Typically /var/lib/) 
or
rm -f "/<path_to>/urpmi/.RPMLOCK"
  1. rm -f "/<path_to>/urpmi/.LOCK"
  2. (Typically /var/lib/) 
  3. or
  4. rm -f "/<path_to>/urpmi/.RPMLOCK"
