VLC Installation problem on Fedora 9.

i have try to install vlc player on my machine fedora 9 it not install or not i do'nt know. but i try
came error.

yum install vlc

Load plugins : refresh-packagekit

Fedora....
Update..
Setting up install process parsing package install arguments no package VLC avaiable nothing to do

please help me how to install to vlc explain step by step.

I would try yum install vlc* and do that as root of course.

Maybe if that doesn't work try going to the VLC official website and get an rpm package and install that.

this says no package "VLC". upper/lower case matters, and that appears as though you tried executing: yum install VLC yes? because you have to type everything in lowercase unless it's something that specifically has an uppercase letter in it's name, such as NetworkManager
