Hi,
im just interested in knowing wether anyone of you has ever used VMware (M$) to install Linux.
I did it myself one day ago using SuSE Linux 9.0 and it seems to work perfect (Network, Sound everything workin' fine).
For me a real alternative because i was trying out many kernel configs, but none of them was perfect. I had to compile a new kernel beacuse of my Radeon 9800 Pro Dualhead feature i wanted to use.
But now, with VMware i can boot up Linux while working in window$ (no one likes id but in some way we all need it).
Would be nice to hear some comments about VMware.

VMware is an excellent software but i think that is a little bit resource consuming. overall i think that it is an easy to use s/w.

VMware is pretty sweet. It's a great program for testing your installs before commiting them to a cd and going through a full install.
