Do you mean "most popular distribution"? Debian is usually quite popular... there are a number of (conflicting) distribution popularity reports on the internet... here's one:

Slackware and gentoo do have quite the cult following :) ...but if popular is defined as the number of machines it's installed on, I'm guessing it's not at the top (sorry) =)

Right :) , am just a fan of slackware that's all, but I think Debain is most used and as a commercial I think its RedHat.
