Could you be a bit more specific? How is it not installing? Are you trying to install from an RPM or source?

For an rpm, you should be able to just do:
rpm -ivh wine<whatever>.rpm

if it complains at you, post your errors. Likewise, with the source:
./configure
make
make install

and again, if it complains at you, post the errors.

On a slightly different note. If you have the source, and there's a spec file (probably called wine.spec - but since I have no use for wine, I wouldn't know) you can build an rpm for your system. That will cause RPM to register wine as an installed package and make upgrades from rpm's (or source) easier in the future.

to do this, copy your tar.gz (the as yet unpacked one) to /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
then, from the directory where you unpacked the source, edit your spec file (if you feel like it - or need to), then just do:
rpmbuild -ba filename.spec
you can then cd to /usr/src/redhat/RPMS and your new RPM will be there.

If you try this and it complains, as before, post your errors.

DL from http://www.winehq.com/site/download

If you use mandrake like me just double click the .rpm file and click install now and you should be set.
