Adding a text box into a webpage issue

Hi all,

I really need some help here, so if anyone sees a solution to this I'll really be great full.

I am to buy and advertising space on this homepage.
It is a 468x60 text box (a box containg text and a certain amount of links) who is to come and replace the actual Allopass advert who appears under the menu at the top.

I first tried adding this one:

but still i can't seem to get it to appear correctly and that whatever I try

This is way above my skills at this time and i've been on it for a month already, so if anyone could ge me some kind of a good result i'd really be thank full for sure!

firstly The <thead>,<tbody> and <tfoot> elements are seldom used, because of bad browser support.


and i opened your (first) code in ff and it looks fine to me

Yeah the code comes out okay in my html editor (html kit) but when i try adding it to the homepage in question (using my editor too) I can't get it to appear correctly.
It's du to the coding used on that page in question which I'm not familiar with at all and so don't know how to get it to appear instead of the allopass ad.

Okay here goes,

This is the last plain text box i've been trying to put up, (as i gave up on the photo background one)
the 468 is suppose to replace the allopass one but i've had to leave this one there too for now as if i take it off the two columns on each side crash to the middle.
