Huh? Are you trying to create a navigation bar in Dreamweaver? Is that what you were trying to say? Otherwise I have no idea what you just said.

I have no idea what you just said. On a wild guess, I think you may be looking for a form button which takes you to a specific web site...

<form action="http://150mcom/">
<button type="submit" value="Go to 150m.com!">
</form>

...this is unconventional; it may not work. (I don't know of 150m.com will appreciate a POST over a GET.)

It should be noted that this post was flagged as inappropriate. wrote:

Maybe cheat was a strong word (it was changed to inappropriate). Hacking has been around as long as computers themselves - the post was identified as a questionable solution. It is rare for web servers not to accept POST requests and this example sends an empty set as well as avoiding JavaScript incompatibilities. The suggestion, although untested, was given on reasonable grounds that it would work.

I'm am surprised my post may warrant moderation. All I found in the rules and regulations regarding this issue revolved around being respective to other users; this post was respectful, and offered assistance despite the nature of the original question...

I just tested action="webaddress" technique against two web servers (IIS and Apache) and found the solution works in both cases and does not generate any errors (warning or otherwise) on the server or client.

Delete this post if necessary and we'll count that as well as this edit as two flags.

EDIT: After finding this in the introduce yourself forum, i'm pretty sure the below will work for you.http://www.ozzu.com/ftopic4-855.html
Code: [ Select ]
<html>
<head>
<script language="javascript">
<!--
    function giterDone(){
        window.open(URL.value);
    }
-->
</script>
</head>

<body>
<input type="text" id="URL" /><input type="button" value="Giter Done !" onClick="giterDone()" />
</body>
</html>
  1. <html>
  2. <head>
  3. <script language="javascript">
  4. <!--
  5.     function giterDone(){
  6.         window.open(URL.value);
  7.     }
  8. -->
  9. </script>
  10. </head>
  11. <body>
  12. <input type="text" id="URL" /><input type="button" value="Giter Done !" onClick="giterDone()" />
  13. </body>
  14. </html>

Ok I'm confused too. Are you asking for a navigation bar or a bar that shows their IP address?!?

if you want the form button, you could use something like this
Code: [ Select ]
<form action="http://150mcom/" method="get">
<button type="submit" value="Go to 150m.com!">
</form>
  1. <form action="http://150mcom/" method="get">
  2. <button type="submit" value="Go to 150m.com!">
  3. </form>

Oh yes! What an obvious oversight! Good one. :-)
