It seems to affect all versions 6-8 from what I've been testing.

If you have an image set as a png in IE (mine are transparent, not sure if this makes a difference), IE is unable to understand the single quote( ' ) in the images title or alt attributes and will trim off the rest of the alt or title text.

For example if you were to set "Hello, I'm currently unavailable" as the title text for a png in IE when a user scrolls over the image all they'll see is "Hello, I".

I tried setting the single quotes as ' but IE of course can't handle entities in their title/alt tags either. Anyone run into this before?

EDIT: NM, the reason this occurs is because of the code that enables full transparent PNG support in these browsers.

I got this triming trouble before using jpg .... so is not related to .png

Now I use alt and title and i do not use ' inside the tags... probably IE8 solved the problem... no idea.
