hello,

my website is: http://www.habbo-heaven.vze.com. if you go to it in firefox it works great, but if you go to it in internet explorer you will notice that the iframe in the middle is white instead of the color that it is in firefox.
Any ideas on how to fix it???

Both IE AND Opera render the page the same way (no bgcolor in the IFrame), but Netscape 7 and Firefox render the background color as you designed.

Then I viewed the source.

Now, I'm not great at coding, but this looks a bit "off".

body { background-color: ;}

PS. that script to prevent viewing source only works with IE (with js enabled), so why bother?

what script? you mean the no right click one??? if so that wasn't to stop viewing source cause you can go view>view page source. it was to stop basic people from taking my images. And yeh would would you suggest doing to that to fix it???

actually if you go to http://habboheaven.habbohosting.net/ and copy and paste this code into the address bar:
Code: [ Download ] [ Select ]
javascript:void(document.onmousedown=null);void(document.onclick=null);void(document.oncontextmenu=null)

then it doesn't work in IE either ;) lol

Code: [ Download ] [ Select ]
background-color: transparent;

body {
background-color: #283349;
}

This is what you have coded into the left nav frame...try that.

yeh but how many "off the street" (common) people are going to know to put that into the address bar??? and this isn't really helping my problem

Post September 18th, 2005, 5:59 pm

did you see the css code? lol ya know..under the javascript.. and if they want your pix, they'll either search google for a no right click script (which would be a waste) or view your source, find the direct link to the pic and just go to that. such as http://habboheaven.habbohosting.net/ima ... banner.gif

Change the CSS to reflect the addition of the background-color...

Add #283349 to the background color callout.
