any ideas, how to keep track mentee`s problem?

hi to all...
i have to create a monitoring system, the main objective of my system is "keep track mentee`s problem "..but i dont know the ideas how to keep track...

What is/are mentee's ?
Mentee - As in a person who has a mentor?

yes...mentee is student and mentor is lecturer...
lecturer need to keep track their student`s problem...
let`s say, this lecturer want meet her/his student after 2day regarding that student`s problem...how will tat system remind that lecturer he/she have appointment with that particular student?
what is best way to solve this problem...

wow, that's a bit of a tough one ... firstly each lecturer has to be in a database, and each lecturer has to have a list of students that he/she is responsible for, then there needs to be a list of students and appointment dates, every day the system will need to check which student has an appointment and then find the lecturer associated to that student and maybe send him/her an email or something like that ...

Maybe you could use some kind of calendar system for that? I've used WebCalendar in the past.. It's open source (free) and seems to have a decent amount of functions.

It's mainly a calendar system, but seems to have some of the functionality you're looking for. I'm definitely no expert with it, so you might want to play around with one of the demos and see if it would help you.
