I have developed a simple php application using mysql as the database. The problem I am having is when a user enters data that has an apostrophe(') it doesn not store the infomration in the table correctly and all fields after that are not stored at all. How do I allow a user to be able to enter the apostrophe in their text field but it not be treated like an apostrophe in the insert statement for Mysql.

Thank you for any assistance, I am real new at this and anm getting frustrated.
