I feel silly, but I'm having trouble getting a background image to show in Firefox (2.0.0.6), despite the image showing up in IE7.
Code: [ Select ]
body{
    background: #000;
    background-image: url(http://ceauto.net/imgs/entry.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: bottom left;
    color: #FFF;
    font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, "Trebuchet MS", Sans-Serif, Georgia, Courier, "Times New Roman", Serif;
    font-size: 11px;
    line-height: 135%;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px; /* required for Opera to have 0 margin */
    text-align: center; /* centers board in MSIE */
}
  1. body{
  2.     background: #000;
  3.     background-image: url(http://ceauto.net/imgs/entry.jpg);
  4.     background-repeat: no-repeat;
  5.     background-position: bottom left;
  6.     color: #FFF;
  7.     font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, "Trebuchet MS", Sans-Serif, Georgia, Courier, "Times New Roman", Serif;
  8.     font-size: 11px;
  9.     line-height: 135%;
  10.     margin: 0px;
  11.     padding: 0px; /* required for Opera to have 0 margin */
  12.     text-align: center; /* centers board in MSIE */
  13. }

I have also tried url(....) no-repeat;[.i] and [i]url(...) no-repeat bottom left;

The url should be inside single quotes like this: url('http://........')

Here is an example

yes kc0tma is correct, your missing the quotes, also one mistake many make is that they leave out the # in their html when they pick a hex value for color, leaving out the # will make your color not show up in fox. just an extra note ;)

Also, to say this out, sometimes one mistakes gives a domino effect. One mistakes sets out other issues that may be indirectly linked to that mistake.
