Background Images Wont Show in Internet Explorer

I am starting to get on the frustrated side of things. I have been working and working on my first website, http://thefreeflashgames.com trying to get it just right, however there is a problem. When the homepage is viewed in internet explorer, the background image DOES NOT show. In Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, the background image DOES show. What is the problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
