I have a layout done with CSS, and I wanted the colums to stretch all the way down, so i used a bg slice and set it as the background....problem solved....or so I thought. Now i had the slice as the bg picture but to the right of the layout it is white, which I didnt want, I wanted that to be the color of the bg of the layout.

I decided to change the bg from the image to the color i wanted and make a container div to put the layout in but the container div isnt working

Any ideas of how to get it to work, or how to get the bg how i want it...thanks :D

try:
Code: [ Select ]
background-color:#666;
background-image:url(myimage.jpg);
background-repeat:repeat-y;
  1. background-color:#666;
  2. background-image:url(myimage.jpg);
  3. background-repeat:repeat-y;

or alternatively

Code: [ Select ]
background: #666 url(myimage.jpg) repeat-y;

You can have both a background colour and a background image :)
