You have this specified in the style sheet:
Code: [ Select ]
.navlog
{
    color: #333;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 6px 0;
    background-image: url("/images/gradient.gif");
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: top right;
}
  1. .navlog
  2. {
  3.     color: #333;
  4.     margin: 0;
  5.     padding: 6px 0;
  6.     background-image: url("/images/gradient.gif");
  7.     background-repeat: no-repeat;
  8.     background-position: top right;
  9. }

Because those linked anchors have class="navlog", that rule will be applied: namely, the top right corner of the gradient image will appear as the background of each anchor.

To fix this, remove the class attribute or change the class to something new and set a CSS rule with background: transparent applied to all elements of that class.
