Blank page in IE7

I am trying to create a page to send as an email, everything is working fine in Firefox however internet explorer 7 is showing only the background color. From looking on Google I believe it is due to an unclosed tag or similar but I'm not sure what I need to change.

I managed to solve it by changing:

I had opened an HTML comment and not closed it.
