I am setting up a blog for a completely beginner, what do you recommend? I have the domain name, and I have a webhost, but I will use a free webhost if that is best. I just want the most simple blog, for the most simplistic blogging (posting notes, pictures, and videos), with the least amount of problems possible. Technical and visual excellence is not required!!!

(I know this is a content management system (CMS) issue, and not a website design issue, but there's not forums for CMS in Ozzu!)

I was about to set up using Google Sites, but after twenty minutes of messing around it just felt wrong.

Multiple posts, I know, but I am also thinking of moving to WordPress. Either their free webhosting deal, which I think runs ads, or use my own webhosting if it is simple enough.

If it is, I'll be moving xona.com over to it, too.

Right now I am still using CityDesk and have been plagued with it ever since I purchased it. And basically stopped posting to my own website because of all its problems. :S

Blogger is simple enough, you can point your domain name at it if you want.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

I know of some excellent website design agencies in the UK. They can be tapped for an alternative to Google Sites. I am sure http://www.bondmedia.co.uk/ could swing it for you.
