Okay guys I need your help once again since your advice is one of the best on the net that I have found.

I am building a huge web site that is a picture and minimum info site that is needing to contain a data base that when a user clicks on a link that the link will then access the server for the information and spit back a picture and the id number of the product and four other related items.

What would i write the Database in? and then what laugage should i use to have it access the database from the website?

PHP / MySQL is the most widely used scripting language / database combination. I guess that would work well for your purpose.

I have used php/MySql, Asp.Net/Sql, Asp.Net/Access ... and out of those I find php/MySql to be the easiest to work with ... it just feels like it's quicker than Asp.Net for some reason, even though I don't really think it is ... and I also found that there is tons of online support for php/MySql, where sometimes it's a bit harder to find Asp.Net/Sql support ...

My opinion though ...

maybe this would help ... even though, the queries are basically structured the same way ... there's no real difference ... and MySql is much much faster ...
