Hey,
Is there anyway you can download a free calander, just a small one that could sit on your homepage, and so oyou can click on a date to find out events, also one that updates itself, ie showswhat day it is and changes month, I tried to create one using a table and it looked ok, but was a bit to much hassle changing it every month.
Thanx

Calendars that update themselves are normal. Every JavaScript calendar out there does it. The fact of linking it to events is a bit trickier.
I have a little calendar for download on my site, but that's made in Flash and bases its events with an XML file...
Probably not what you are looking for, but there is another place you can go and check out:

If you can use ASP, I have used the calendar on http://www.asp101.com and turned it into a (what I think) useful piece of one of my sites.
http://www.kermisdata.nl
This site holds (almost) all carnivals of The Netherlands and the calendar is used to navigate through the dates of the database.
It uses a text file as a database, while the data is pretty straight forward.

You can check the ASP101 sample by clicking samples and check out the calendar. These samples are free to use of course.

If you need any extra info, just let me know.

Good Luck.

ASP is a program language you can use in your web pages as well as PHP.
If the web site is running on a Windows server, it most likely will accept ASP scripts.
