Hi, I stumbled upon this website recently: http://archeage.xlgames.com/ and fell in love with the way they designed it, but I have no clue what css/jquery method they used to achieve this. Can anyone point me in the right direction to some sort of tutorial that will help me create a similar template? Thanks! :)

They are using lots of CSS3 animations, transformations, and lots of Javascript built on top of jQuery. Looks like lots of work went into it, and other than it not being responsive looks well done. I don't have any other information than this, unfortunately.

Well I did find out how they made it, and yes there is a lot of work to be done and there is even a way to make it responsive but it might mess up some of the animations. For those who are trying to make cool things like this site, search for PARALLAX tutorials.

My only real problem is not knowing how did they manage to make such an awesome small html5 player (BGM). I did manage to find some tutorials with jquery but nothing as slim as this. I know it's not flash but I don't know what type of sorcery they used! If someone has any ideas please do share :)

Thanks!

Looking through their source, I can see the following libraries, along with some other custom ones:

http://handlebarsjs.com/
http://jackrugile.com/jrumble/
https://github.com/cowboy/jquery-bbq
https://github.com/madrobby/keymaster
https://github.com/jquery/jquery-mousewheel
http://requirejs.org/

As for the media player, looks like they built that as a custom script:

With a loading screen that long for a web site you know it is good but no wonder it is a crytek site.

But that looks like a serious game they have got developing, take my money

Nah, the game is pure P2W, but it has super nice graphics and mechanics.
