Hi All,
I am a newbie here.

I run a web design business and have a potential client who is looking to start an e-commerce site and has identified an online system that they would like to use, but wants us to create the design.

The company she has identified offers a CMS controlled site with a stock backend system so she can upload excel files and control the stock through the CMS system which also gives the ability of printing reports and tying in with an accounts package.

the company who offer this all in one online system are relatively new and don't have a massive track record.

does anyone know of any othe systems that offer this functionality? I would like to be able to offer my client a different solution if possible.

Thanks for reading!

Paste you subject line into Google and you'll have plenty of choices.

Or Zen Cart. I've played around with that and it seems to have the functions you're looking for. To change the appearance, you'll just need to create a new template. As long as you have some HTML and CSS knowledge, it shouldn't be too tough to do.
