A couple different thing can cause that. Can you post a link, or the HTML?

I *think* this code is messing it up:

Code: [ Select ]
<div class="item">
 <div class="itemHead"></div>
 <div class="itemFoot">
  <table width="410" height="94" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
   <!--DWLayoutTable-->
   <tr>
    <td height="94" valign="top"><div align="left">
     <font size="1"></font></div>     <div align="left">
      <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
       <tr>
        <td><table width="100%" border="0" align="right" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="5">
         <tr>
          <td><font size="1"><span class="itemTitle"><{$story.title}> </span><span class="itemPoster"><{$lang_postedby}> <{$story.poster}></span></font></td>
         </tr>
        </table></td>
       </tr>
       <tr>
        <td><table width="99%" border="0" align="right" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="5">
         <tr>
          <td height="22"><font size="1"><{$story.text}></font></td>
         </tr>
        </table></td>
       </tr>
      </table>
      <div align="right">
       <table width="100%" border="0">
        <tr>
         <td width="98%"><div align="right"><font size="1"><span class="itemPostDate"><{$lang_on}> <{$story.posttime}></span><br>
           <span class="itemAdminLink"><{$story.adminlink}></span> <{$story.morelink}> </font><font size="1"></font></div></td>
         <td width="2%">&nbsp;</td>
        </tr>
       </table>
      </div>
     </div>
    </td>
   </tr>
  </table>
 </div>
</div>
  1. <div class="item">
  2.  <div class="itemHead"></div>
  3.  <div class="itemFoot">

the difference in width is about that of a scrollbar.
So I think it has to do with the frameset that host
is loading your site into.

Try going to the articles section on the site, the scroller seems to go away... but when on the newspage/homepage, it comes back... i think my internet is haunted. ;E

Yet, both pages have the same layout and table widths.
Another thing is, if you go to the message board... the hr. scroller comes back! >_<... i am starting to think that heigth is also messing my horizontal scroller... for both the newspage/homepage and message board, are the only ones that go out of the boundaries vertically speaking, and are both the ones that suffer from the horizontal scrolling horrors..

On your frameset page you have 2 frameset definitions. You need to delete the first one.

Otherwise, try...

Code: [ Select ]
<frame scrolling="yes">

...on the first frame of the next frameset definition.

You can try this javascript I wrote in thirty seconds:
Code: [ Select ]
<script>
parent.document.body.scroll="no";
</script>
  1. <script>
  2. parent.document.body.scroll="no";
  3. </script>

I haven't tested it yet, but it might work.

*ahahah*

Ok here's something weird.

My personal server, where i host my site, is here:
http://pttracker.secil.pt/~lusotakus/if ... /index.php

If you go there, there are *no* horizontal scrollers.

But, if you go to http://www.digihiatus.vze.com, they do exist! Woo! What the hell!

So this is my ... code, that i didnt wrote:

Code: [ Select ]
<HTML>

That code was put there by the guys who run my domain name... and it cant be edited by me... so i guess it will be sending a message to the support center, woop.

Thanks for your time folks.

that is exactly what I said to you in my post before. ;)

Your host is loading your site into frames, probably becuase it's a free
host, correct? or a redirect service? The size of the scrollbar spacing is
the width of one. You're better off getting a real domain for $8 and host
it somewhere reliable.

Why don't you check out blue city hosts if you still have it hosted on a free server. The guy that owns the company is an Ozzu member. I just set a domain up over there and it seems to be pretty good (and you can't beat the price)

Not for now ^^ I actually already have a domain provider in mind, but ill only use it once i know the site has a future, and that im not gonna close it down next month :P Even if its cheap, id prefer wasting the money on a dish of peanuts and a cold one, instead of a site :P
