What are the differences in the same browser, in this case, Internet Explorer, on Windows and then Macs? My site now works with every browser on my computer (I resorted to tables for the content) but when I use the same browser on a Mac, again IE, it looks very different...in other words...HORRID. If these are the same browsers, what is the conflict?

Conflicts with browsers has been a designers night mare from the beginning of time, but you can overcome them.

Atno posted this in another thread which I found useful

According to that chart, my site should look exactly as it does on my windows browser but what happens is: the content spans like twice the size of the screen width and the right column disappears and I'm not sure if the bottom footer is even visible. Any ideas why this would be happening?

My guess would be the MAC is on a lower screen resolution. Also check the version of IE on the MAC. Version 5.5 should be close, but version 5.0 may be pretty far off, depending on your code.

yeah you are not the only one out there looking for that service, Im suprised it hasnt been done before. I wonder if Dan Vine would consider adding it to his one, he already has specs on his site for a mac with IE except he only has the other browser listed.

Its frustrating the differences browsers kick up, it would be better if they all displayed the same! On my website only 4% are mac users, and they cannot view my menu  (but thats only according to that link I gave you)

Everything in that link you gave me (Safari) looks EXACTLY as I intended it to. It's just Mac IE. But I check today at school what version they used and it was IE5 and it looks so screwed up!! But according to the other link, it should show the same!
