I'm not a big user of the Dreamweaver WYSIWYG editor, one reason being that it has <p> as the default for pressing Enter. Is there a way to change that default to put in <br> or <br /> instead?

Thanks!

Use code view and manually do it?

Thanks... That's what I normally do. I like to use the design view to quickly throw a simple table together sometimes, and I find it a big inconvenience to change a lot of <p> tags.

TinyMCE has an option to use <br> instead, I'd be surprised if Dreamweaver doesn't.

Doesn't look like it does. I just checked every possible preference. Line breaks are established by default (apparently) in Edit>Preferences (CTRL+U) under "code format>line break type". All three (Windows, Mac and Linux) appear to default to <p>

instead of hitting enter use shift+enter to get a <br> tag.
#define NULL (::rand() % 2)

That's.. really too bad. Thanks a lot though, I'm glad I didn't have to go through Preferences for hours trying to find it.

Doesn't Dreamweaver has something like search/replace function? I don't really know as I don't have a Dreamweave but every HTML Editor has one... and Dreamweaver is a big program...
