hi,

i am facing a problem with dropdown menu and windows media player movie/quicktime movie. if i have the movie just below the navigation bar and the navigation item has the dropdown menu, the dropdown menu hides behind the movie. i want the menu to overlap the movie.

Any inputs would be appreciated.

Thanks,
rachna

^ yeah if the movie and dropdown menu are in divs set the move to something lower then the dropdown menu, also if your using multiple divs for your menu be sure to put them all above.

quick example.

#movie {z-index: 5;}

#menu1 {z-index: 10;}
#menu2 {z-index: 10;}
#menu3 {z-index: 10;}
etc.

i have tried this, but even this does not work. i have a windows media player movie and not the flash, and by default the .wmv movies have highest z-index.

any suggestions for .wmv movies...
