easy but good website programme?

Hi London calling,

can anyone help this rookie private website builder, I have been using Macromedia Dreamweaver which dosnt work on my new PC, I've just down loaded dreamweaver cs5 trial version which i can't get my head around, is there an easy to use but good website programme I can buy for internet explorer?

Html, css, javascript, php...it's all the same no matter what program you write it in. CS5 is fine, and will work with all browsers, but you have to know how to write good code that is cross-browser compatible.

If you're a wysiwyg editor, than I suggest you take the time to learn dreamweaver. If you prefer to code, than try notepad++, it's free.
