I'm having some issues with the way my External vote Button is displaying.

It has a white background and when I add it to darker websites I'm seeing the background. This isn't cool for my blogging members so I was wondering how I could apply this fix to my image.

Now this is pretty confusing but I'll try and make it as simple as possible.

So here’s an example of when the image looks its best, http://www.iknownil.com/

You will see it in the top left corner of each blog article. It’s the blue bubble that states how many votes the article has.

Here is an example when it’s not working well, http://www.blogengage.com/blogger/

You will see the image in the footer of each article and the white back ground is showing.

Now first thing that came to my mind is I can simply tell the members of my website to add this java code but I don’t think it’s something they would like to do as it’s just too much work and for some too advanced.

The code our members add to add the blogengage evb to their blogs is as follows.

Code: [ Select ]
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://blogengage.com/evb/button.php"></script>

The button.php is what actually holds or calls the image. Could I possibly add some code to the button.php and make this work on their blog or am I screwed?
Please help,

thanks brian b

I'm not sure I follow - they already add the javascript but you don't want to ask them to add the javascript?

Also, I'm not sure what kind of problem you're having with the button - the link you said it wasn't working well wasn't there - except at the bottom and it was on a light background. Is it aliasing with a white matte?

yes the light back ground now I know the user can add java for IE to allow a transparent png but can I add the java to my button.php so the blogger only has to add the one code?
