hi all,

is it possible to make frames without a scroll bar in dhtml?
my goal is to make two horizontal frames and use the top as a horizontal menu and the bottom one as the browsing page. However, I don't want to see a scroll bar in the top frame. how do I get rid of that?

and if anyone knows a better way of keeping the top horizontal menu menu static, feel free to share.

thanks much!

ok.. an addition to my qustion above:

i know that using frames is not the best idea due to the compability issues.

is it possible to do it by dhtml tables?

(keeping the horizontal table on the top of the page while doing browsing and scrolling at the bottom part)

thanks!

If you dont want the scrollbar in a frame just add the following:
Code: [ Select ]
<FRAME SCROLLING=NO>.

This site shows how to emulate frames w/ CSS. It claims compatibility with a number of browsers.

It may have optional scrollbars. I havn't looked through it.
