personally, i never design a site that resizes itself to screen resolutions.
I always fix the table size, because I want the design to remain in tact
for everyone regardless of screen size.

You can get resolution checkers that verify the visitors screen resolution
and then loads the page you designed for that size. In other words, you
will need to design your page at every resolution. Obviously, this is not
practical or convenient.

The best thing I can offer you, is to make the cell that the header image
sits in with a bg image. that way when the table is stretched for higher
resolutions, it fills the cell with the bg image. make sense? It's really
easy, just assign an image as the bg to the cell.

you could do something like:

framename, size=*
framename, size=80%

but I'm not sure what you are getting at,
so samples of what your problem is would help a bit ...

if i were you, I'd just make the page in the top frame black, and leave it
at that. That pic isn't really workable to expand across IMO.

frames make putting the site together a wee bit easier, but in the end, you can never guarantee what your sites gonna look like on all computers. :?
