Yeah I had the xray idea and then went looking for source images on flickr (since I don't have access to an x-ray machine). I found the Macbook pro x-ray and then went looking for a regular shot. I ended up having to just make the cover in Photoshop since all the photos I found were skewed a bit.

The problem is that if you look at a MBP from the front with the keyboard facing you the Apple logo is actually upside down. Its positioned so that its right side up when the lid is open and your looking at it from the back.

Haha, ya when I first looked at this I was really confused because I swore you had the thing upside down.

Here are some more x-ray images:

When you going to write a tutorial about that so we can recreate it?

Well I actually thought it was a bit to simple for a full blown tutorial (view the source code or use Firebug its all there in a few lines of CSS). But if you guys want I can formalize it a bit.

Those are the best kind to write up - the easy ones. :)
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Yeah, i can view the source, but what about attracting people to ozzu through search engines?

You never know, there is bound to be someone out there looking for a tutorial about this so would be worth it writing it up for that reason alone.
