Can you tell if @font-face is working ?

I remember someone mentioning that early releases of chrome didn't have the text-shadow or @font-face working.

As you can’t have failed to notice, Google released their Chrome browser today. Chrome is based on the same version of Webkit as Safari 3.1 so should in theory have the same level of CSS support, although based on the very brief usage I’ve had of it so far it seems that text-shadow and @font-face aren’t working.

I doubt we'll see @font-face for a while. I was just reading an article on it the other day, I'll try to find it again. Basically the various browser companies aren't willing to allow it because of potential intellectual property copyright infringement. e.g. someone using a copyrighted font without permission.

I thought that to, unless you make your own fonts. but there are lots of free fonts on the web.
Anyway ide like to see a case of a font maker suing a browser like say firefox or something for supporting @font-face because someone is using there font.
Its just stupid how people can get protective of fonts.
