L.s.,

I have an phpBB forum on wich you have to login (no guest option).
I programmed a google map with a linked Google spreatsheet as a link within this forum using the forum template.

Now the problem is that it doen't load or show the map.

It might have something to do with connecting to google maps from within the forum.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue.

Thanks,

Peter (Netherlands)

More like the reverse - i.e. google connecting to read the kml/xml file.
Only work around I can think of is unprotect the forum, which, I'll assume you most likely don't want to do.

Moderator,

Yes it is confidential info, so I do not want to unprotect the forum.
I rewrote the google script in the sence that I disconnected it from Google spreatsheet and use a *.xml file instead.
This didn't solve the problem. A static map is not a problem only a dynamic map.

But now we know that the problem is not reading the data from the markers but getting the google map.

Any hint or thought please let me know because Iám pertty stuck ...

Well, you can use the google maps API on a password protected site per the information in this link:
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/faq.html#tos_password

However, that doesn't clearly tell you how to do it. I'd suggest reviewing the API documentation. There should be some instruction somewhere on using it on a password protected site.
