Hi,

I don't know codes so be easy on me.

I need to change some header tags to CSS codes and have no idea how to do it.

Here is an example of my header tag.
<h1>Home Loans Car Loans has the best Mortgage Loan rates</h1>

Can you please show me how to add the CSS code for this header tag.

Thank You,
Cindy

If your doing embedded styles then it would be:

Code: [ Select ]
<style type="text/css">
<!--
h1 {
font-family: Verdana, Arial;
text-align: center;
font-weight: bold;
font-size: larger;
color: green;
}
-->
</style>
  1. <style type="text/css">
  2. <!--
  3. h1 {
  4. font-family: Verdana, Arial;
  5. text-align: center;
  6. font-weight: bold;
  7. font-size: larger;
  8. color: green;
  9. }
  10. -->
  11. </style>

add whatever attributes you want for the line

Thanks that's great, but where exactly do I add my text? I could guess but it might be wrong.

The CSS goes in between your head tags. The actual "call" h1 would go in your HTML or body area. Everytime you use the h1 tag, all the text that falls inside those tags will have the attributes you specified in your CSS codes.

So for how many h tags I want to do, I only need this one CSS code, I won't have to repeat the CSS code again?

Thanks,
Cindy

for every instance of h1, you only need the one tag. if you're going to have h2, h3, etc, just add in another tag to the css but change h1 to h2.
