hi guys
Right i need some help. I need to know how i can design a search on a website. A guy did one for me once and he designed a site with a search facility and a seperate site where i can imput my own info as and when. This seperate site had a password so i can get in and out, and it had sections where i can imput data which saved.
When i used my site to search, it searched this seperate site and brought up the relivant info eg.. a road name, and brought up the info related to that search.
I use a software package called serif. This is good to design a basic site.
Can someone design me code as im not very good with html and databases..
Any help would be great
thanks

...........
Are you saying you want an in-site search engine on your site?
To create one is pretty complicated.

it might be better to just use something available to us for free, like google's

Either that, or hire a programmer if you got the money

I just use Google's custom search feature, too, like the one I used on this site.
