Help: Odd glitch / "Standard Selection" Explorer?

Hello Ozzu forum -- I'm hoping someone out there can help me, if you are able to duplicate what happened to me.

I rarely use Explorer (I use Firefox) but I do check out my sites on Explorer to make sure all is well. This morning, I was looking through one of my recent sites in Explorer and I clicked on the text (no reason). As soon as I clicked, all CSS text effects disappeared. Startled, I went to a few other sites that I had designed. On the ones I looked at, the same thing happened. When I went to a site I hadn't designed, all was fine.

I was able to solve it by right clicking and selecting "Use Standard Selection" (don't know what that means), but my worry is this. Why did it to it on my sites, and not other sites? Is there something in the code that is allowing that? What is Standard Selection and how does it get turned off?

Put a link to one of your sites here... maybe it is only your site

[EDIT:] I don't even see a button "Standard Selection". Make sure that none of the add-ons, plug-ins or any software that you might have installed are doing it.
