I am designing a online study website with all the study material in form of powerpoint slides. I want to add these powerpoint slides to my website pages in a way that the powerpoint slides open inside a web page so that controls can be added to the web page so that users can navigate through the slides. Is this possible in any way. If yes then how?

when you use save as webpage option from the file menu in powerpoint, it creates html pages and navigation buttons for you.

You get an index of all your slides on the left and forward and back buttons on the bottom.

You might want to watch out for browser compatibility if that will be an issue (microsoft has little respect for anyone else....)

very true. Also, this method uses frames which might not be useful for everyone viewing the site

you might want to see if you can convert it to a flash file. There are some conversions software out there I think, but I am not sure how good they are

Power Point does appear in Netscape (atleast from my past experiences) and Internet Explorer. However, I'd still recommend going with Flash.

Here is all the information you need on converters.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
But is there any option other than saving powerpoint files as webpages because i have a lot of powerpoint files. Is there any method using Javascript or iframe tags so that i can directly show powerpoint slide inside the webpage.

Yes you are right but i am working on the project during my summer training in which the powerpoint slides containing the study material have already been prepared by earlier students. I have to do the other part, that is user registration, linking the powerpoint slides in website & online tests etc. Therefore i was looking for a solution to directly link a powerpoint file in the webpage.
