I've been trying to figure out how to disable CSS is done, as in this website:

http://www.squidfingers.com

When you click on the link it disables CSS. The link itself is "?css=none" which leads me to believe it's a script, but i can't find any common PHP scripts on google. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

yeah
this should work:

Code: [ Select ]
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<?
if ($css == '')
{
//css code here
}
?>
<TITLE>
</TITLE>
  1. <HTML>
  2. <HEAD>
  3. <?
  4. if ($css == '')
  5. {
  6. //css code here
  7. }
  8. ?>
  9. <TITLE>
  10. </TITLE>

then just pass along the css variable when you want to turn of css:
Code: [ Select ]
<A HREF="index.html?css=none">No CSS</a>

by the way, you should check out this post and introduce yourself,

Ah, I see. Just have the PHP write the CSS styles in if no variable is passed and should one be passed, then don't write them in. [/tanx!]

As Monty Burns would say...

...excellent... :twisted:
