I'm interested in learning what's involved in starting a domain parking company but have not found any info out there. Example: Sedopro, GoldKey, Trafficclub,

Can someone point me to in the right direction?

You have to have absolutely no morals, cheap scammy advertisers, and a couple of DNS servers. That's all that's involved...

Now when you say cheap scammy advertisers, are you talking about Cars.com, Insurance.com, DisneyWorld and other ads you see on those landing pages. If so, in what way are they cheap and scammy?

By the way your reply was not helpful at all but thanks for the effort.

A lot of domain parkers use ad networks that aren't as strict as Google, so a lot of those advertisers don't realize they are getting shafted. However, if you're planning on starting your own, you're going to need to find people interested on capitalizing on someone misspelling a competitors domain name and such. That's scammy.

Yeah, I'm not surprised that someone only interested in squeezing every penny out of people at any cost isn't helped by my response. But hey, I wouldn't help Mohamed over in Africa when his great uncle died and left him 10 MILLION USD$ and he wanted to transfer it over me before his leader seized it. I suppose I'm just not a fan of spam. ;)

You could not be any more wrong. You do not need misspelled domain names which capitalize from others to open and run a parking lot. Most domain names parked that make good money are not typos. Out of over 325 names I only have 1 typo ingines.com and ingines.net Most are just good natural type in traffic such as RidFlu.com WatchNascar.com Rapidftp and so on.

As far as you insinuating that your lame reply was of no help because someone (me) is trying to squeeze every penny from people is just as lame.

When I see companies not even taking applications unless your domain portfolio earns at least $10,000 per month yeah it makes me want to learn a little more about it. If that makes me scammy in your mind then so be it.

Where do you buy all those domain names to start parking? Does anyone know of a good domain name registrar who gives a deal on buying bulk domain names? thanks

You're lucky to find a parking within bus distance to the main attraction anymore.

If you want to get into it, pay close attention to devoloping countries that are struggling economicly.
Why yes, yes I am.
