Could you elaborate a little bit on what exactly you are trying to do and where you are having problems?

Based on what you have posted I would suggest downloading some sort of ftp client such as file zilla and a program like 7zip for the extracrtion of your compressed documents.

If the template is zipped as a zip file (the extension would be .zip) you could just browse it like you would a normal file (At least you can in Vista and I'm pretty sure you can do that in Microsoft XP).

Any other format, I would recommend downloading 7zip and once you download it, you can right click on the zipped folder, move your mouse to the 7zip option, and then extract here.

Try universal extractor, or the proper winzip, or winrar if you want, they will unzip your template, and then you can do inverse process to zip your files and then upload them.
