Hey, I have a phpBB forum (like this) and I want to place a HTML header above the original (including links around my site etc). However phpBB do not provide a HTML template to add the HTML.. How would I do it?

i've never seen the source for phpBB but what i'd do is... since its all text... search through the source code and find the header... then add your own HTML.
Or maybe there is an option in the script to do just what you ask.

Well all I do for this forum and other forums using PHPBB is I edit the file called:

overall_header.tpl

and you can change the header on all your pages. There is also one called:

overall_footer.tpl

to edit the footer on all your pages.

Thanks for the quick reply. I found that if I rename the .tpl file to php, htm or even txt I can edit it inside any editor. Since I'm so use to macromedia mx it makes things easier for me.

Thanks again.
