I was just looking at the Hotmail web mail application and I noticed it's using sharp square corners.

That got me to thinking about how the corners on something tend to become rounded off as that thing gets older and the color starts to fade.
Kinda like all of these websites with round corders and pastel color schemes.

Once you figure in the peeling corner advertisements and relate those to peeling paint or wallpaper, the Internet really starts to look old.

Now if that wasn't enough, consider how many people there are going around "Flipping" web sites these days as if they were houses.

Long ago I used to work with a fellow web dever. In 1997 we decide that we would each get to use one page curl in the entirety of our professional careers - ONLY ONE. I used mine in 1998. :(

And then there are those that never grow old. They simply maintain the original ugliness they were famous for.

Speaking of getting old, I stayed up for two days straight for the first time in a long tome to work on something and getting out of bed this afternoon was no fun at all even though I was enthused about what I had to do today.

On the bright side, it's probably been just as long since I slept that well. :D
