Hi y'all, can anyone take a look at this thing? On the gallery page I've set up a thumbnail viewer which works beautifully as long as the pictures are not higher than the screen height, but when they are, before it loads the pop-up picture it shifts the entire 'gallery' page a little to the left, and then brings it back when you close the pop up window. It's no big deal I guess but it's bugging me. (examples are second picture in the fifth row, for instance, or second in the sixth, to save you hunting. Of course this only counts if you have a 17" screen like me)

the site is here, provisionally:

EDIT: as instructed by Dyfrin - one of the models featured on the site is a female nude. watch where you open the site. or don't click on the thumbnail with a breast on it :)

I've just checked on two different machines using IE6, on one the images opened but the frames on the actual gallery page were glitchy/ misaligned - when I click on a different page and then come back to the gallery everything seems fine.

On the other machine everything worked fine from the start.

I really need to fix this..... anyone has any ideas why a page would act different at different times?

Clear the cache of the machines that run that bad...

I appreciate all attempts of help but I'm not sure I understand the advice. bogey - are you saying it's not down to my code but down to the machines I was accessing the site from? I like that explanation :)

Dyfrin - NSWF? Not safe for work? because there is a model of a naked woman among the images? sorry I never thought about that....

Anyhow one more thing that might be relevant - the site is W3C compliant but I did get a warning that it contains a UTF BOM, which might cause problems in some browsers. Should I get rid of the BOM? Could it be what's causing the mess-up?
