Ok, I can only help with so much...you'll have to ask rtm for anything I can't cover.

Your HTML validated fine

Your first CSS validation error (actually all of them are) is a color error:

fffc00

I don't know where you got the color from but I would assume it was a typo and you meant it to be:

FFCC00

Your second is 000000, that should be black-I'm not sure right now why it isn't working. You also have a color 2b4556, I am at my brothers house and can't see what you are trying to get (color) so I don't know what that is. Why don't you shoot me some images on Monday via email and I'll give you the correct data to put in for the colors.

Well the HTML error is fixed cuz after I posted this I changed what I had. I got the colors from photoshop, FFFC00 is a real bright yellow which is what I want, not FFCC00 which is some orange-ish color, and I don't know what 2b4556...probably a weird spasam or something :P

Your CSS validation error is due to the fact that you are attempting to use the Microsoft CSS for Scrollbars which are not recognized by the W3C as valid CSS.

Your error:
Quote:
Errors
URI : http://www.bizarroproductions.com/divtest/div.css

* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-arrow-color doesn't exist : #fffc00
* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-base-color doesn't exist : #121622
* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-dark-shadow-color doesn't exist : #2b4556
* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-track-color doesn't exist : #000000
* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-face-color doesn't exist : #000000

Property scrollbar-shadow-color doesn't exist : #000000
* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-highlight-color doesn't exist : #fffc00
* Line: 0 Context : body

Property scrollbar-3d-light-color doesn't exist : #000000

Nix that from your code and your CSS should validate.

If you want the CSS to be Valid --the answer is no. If you want them for design effect then go ahead and do it. But realize that they will only show up in Internet Explorer. No other browser supports it and many are switching especially in light of Microsofts recent lack of support for inherent security flaws.

A large majority of regulars here use Firefox as a default browser and we'd never see your scrollbar colors anyway. The general public that still use IE probably will. Basically the choice is up to you. If it were up to me I'd nix them in favor of validation to standards.

Well, yes, sorta, but no.

I think the problem has to do with the javascript
Quote:
onclick="document.getElementById('header')

Netscape/Mozilla version browsers handle javascript code slightly different than IE and I think that's roughly where your problem is. I would suggest presenting that as a separate topic in the programming board.. I'd love to help on that, but I modify Javascript when I feel the need, but I'm in no way an expert at it.
