new font (no system)

hey fellows.
i want to put some no system fonts in a site. i can change the font in a css stuff (im using golive cs - first time user). but when i preview the site at 800X600, at the web, the font get all jagged. why??? i need to embed the font??? how ????

also, can i make this some other way, in golive?

actually i found it!!! you need to use the super duper microsoft WEFT stuff, wich embeds the font. anyone used it?? i need to test it in some browsers!!!

I don't think that font will show up for anyone unless they have it installed on there system, unless of course you are using it as an image

this program lets you embed the fonts, so the user can see your fonts without already have then. but got some problems and stuff. read it out!

hmmm, that is pretty interesting for IE users. Do you have a link to a site that is using WEFT?

yeah i've used Weft and embeded about 20 fonts into a page, it's good but don't forget the font has to download, so there will be a delay.
The good thing is CSS will use a default font while the custom one is downloading.
The bad thing is it only works in IE!

(I think there are other font embedding solutions for other browsers too, but i've never got so fars as to investigate that!)
