positioning things on a webpage

Heelo there

I use Div layering to position everything in my website no wmy fproblem is that it squezes it self together if i have a smaller internet window, now i want to try and let it stay the same and just let people scroll over to look at it. does anyone no to do.

this is the code that i use

hmm...not quite sure what to make of your css lol, try this:
change what you have now to this:
Code: [ Select ]
<style type="text/css">
body {
position:absolute;
top: 10px;
left: 10px;
z-index: 2;
}
container {
width: 100%;
overflow: auto;
}
</style>
  1. <style type="text/css">
  2. body {
  3. position:absolute;
  4. top: 10px;
  5. left: 10px;
  6. z-index: 2;
  7. }
  8. container {
  9. width: 100%;
  10. overflow: auto;
  11. }
  12. </style>

and write after your body tag add this:
Code: [ Select ]
<div id="container">

and put this right before the /body tag
Code: [ Select ]
</div>

if that doesn't work then post a link, should be able to solve it with the source
