i have been looking for a way to set HTML as a background for personal use. I Have been wondering if i can set a localhost to show on the desktop. Apparently it was possible in XP but feature was removed in Win7.

Just wondering if anyone knows a little more about how to do this if possible.

Just doing a quick google search i found there are some third party programs that can possibly work for your needs.

You might want to check out StarDock's DeskScapes, but I don't think it can do HTML.

They removed Active Desktop after XP from what I remember. Good riddance.
