First off, let me say I am new to web design. I have only designed one site so far in Dreamweaver, using Fireworks to make the logo on top of the page, and navigation buttons inside it. Now I am taking it up a notch by using frames. I am trying to design a top logo that will fit inside the frame at the top of the page. How do you get the dimensions of a frame? I thought that the frame properties viewer would show me this, but it’s not in there. Am I looking in the wrong place? Does Dreamweaver have a measuring tool like Photoshop? Any info would be a huge help.

This tutorial should give you all the information you need:

http://codepunk.hardwar.org.uk/ahtml20.htm

If it doesn't, do a Google search for:
"frame rows" + size

Happy Reading!

just to let you know, a lot of the time, frames are looked down upon due to viewing issues on certain browsers. if you can avoid it, try not to use frames.

that's my 2 cents

Do a search for "frames" on the ozzu website. There's been a lot of explanation for the cons of using frames. I recommend you read up on it before you continue to take your website "up a notch". I think frames would be moving in the wrong direction. But that's a whole different topic, so I'll shut up and leave it up to you to do more research.
