This is driving me totally crazy, Iam trying to build my business site, and I have put my forum up, and it is running ok, But I have a problem, and its so basic, but its driving me totally crazy.

My host uses C panel, and I can not for the life of me work out how I put my homepage up in the root directory ( is that what its called?)

All of the other webhosts Ive used before just require you to type index.html or whatever and it automatically sets it to your home page so if you type http://www.whatever.com youe homepage comes up.

But C panel doesnt seem to do this, and if it does I cant work it out lol.

Can someone please explain??

I agree with Sk8erGuy. I had CPanel once, and since I wasnt use too it, it was hard, so I found it way easier to FTP in.

ws_ftp pro is the best ftp in my opinion, and it works great, i have stuff hosted with http://www.000k.com and they use cpanel too. all you have to do is name ur file index.html and upload it to the public_html folder, and upload your images and your good to go!

It was so simple, lol, it was right in front of me, i just clicked one button and typed index.html and whatdaya know, it worked lmao.

This is the first "real" website I have designed.. Ive had like practice sites and stuff, but nothing as major as a business site.

Its very basic so far, but I actually really like it. Cant wait to finish it. :)
