Alright, I was making a site in my spare time for a friend of mine. I'm a bit rusty on the coding, but somehow managed to get the site put together. Anyways, I'm having a problem with the rollover effect. Whenever I click down on an image link, it moves the whole image down a pixel.

The site is http://www.signatureaudiovideo.net/

If anyone can help me out with this, or let me know what I did wrong, it would be much appreciated.

Make the height of the <tr> fixed at 62 by doing style="height:62px" or whichever way you want to do it, that should take care of it. The table was a bit messy for accomplishing this though.

I see what it is doing. Could it be that the images are different sizes or that they aren't created totally perfect and aligned just so or something? That is what it looks like to me.

Well, I tried making the height of <tr> to 62 using the style attribute, but it doesn't seem to be working. Now, The reason I went with the table is because it's what I know how to do the best. I'm not very good with css. x.x

Also, I know the images are totally perfect, they are all 194px x 62px. As for them being aligned, I'm fairly certain they are.

Another solution would be to just use a single table data cell with all the images in there. However if you are going to do this then you cannot have any spaces between the tags. I viewed it using firebug and it solves the problem for me.

Code: [ Select ]
<a onmouseout="change('homeover', 'images/home-dark.gif');" onmouseup="change('homeover', 'images/home-over.gif');" onmousedown="change('homeover', 'images/home-over.gif');" onmouseover="change('homeover', 'images/home-over.gif');" href="index.php"><img width="194" height="62" border="0" name="homeover" alt="Home" src="images/home-dark.gif"/></a><a onmouseout="change('aboutusover', 'images/aboutus-dark.gif');" onmouseup="change('aboutusover', 'images/about-us-over.gif');" onmousedown="change('aboutusover', 'images/about-us-over.gif');" onmouseover="change('aboutusover', 'images/about-us-over.gif');" href="aboutus.php"><img width="194" height="62" border="0" name="aboutusover" alt="About Us" src="images/aboutus-dark.gif"/></a><a onmouseout="change('specialsover', 'images/specials.gif');" onmouseup="change('specialsover', 'images/specials.gif');" onmousedown="change('specialsover', 'images/specials.gif');" onmouseover="change('specialsover', 'images/specials.gif');" href="specials.php"><img width="194" height="62" border="0" name="specialsover" alt="Specials" src="images/specials.gif"/></a><a onmouseout="change('locationover', 'images/location-dark.gif');" onmouseup="change('locationover', 'images/location-over.gif');" onmousedown="change('locationover', 'images/location-over.gif');" onmouseover="change('locationover', 'images/location-over.gif');" href="location.php"><img width="194" height="62" border="0" name="locationover" alt="Location" src="images/location-dark.gif"/></a><a onmouseout="change('contactusover', 'images/contactus-dark.gif');" onmouseup="change('contactusover', 'images/contact-us-over.gif');" onmousedown="change('contactusover', 'images/contact-us-over.gif');" onmouseover="change('contactusover', 'images/contact-us-over.gif');" href="contactus.php"><img width="194" height="62" border="0" name="contactusover" alt="Contact Us" src="images/contactus-dark.gif"/></a>

Yeah! Thanks! That works for me as well. Now time to change the code around for each page so that the tabbing looks right.

Again, thanks for your help!

Heh, I had no idea you could put them all in the same cell. lol
