How do i make it so that my tables scroll? I don't want to make one page extremly large while the rest are really small

try nesting the following inside the td tags of the cell that you'd like to scroll

Code: [ Select ]
<div style="position:relative; height:330px; overflow:auto">

Of course, you can change the height attribute if you like, but the width should be taken care of already in your table tag.

overflow:auto is the way to go, but can you not add overflow:auto; to a table cell? I've never tried but I don't see why you can't.

//edit: Just checked the spec and you can, so is probably better than nesting a div.

As a side note, the position:relative; is not needed for this example.

Oooh, good to know, thanks :D

I think I orginally got that code from another forum, but adding it to the td tag is cleaner...had never thought of that before!
